Antony read Philosophy and Politics at The University of York before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP Law School, where he majored in the criminal liability of companies and individual senior managers.

He then interned at a top-tier City law firm where he initially sat in the firm’s Corporate Group, assisting in due diligence reviews for M&A transactions and divestitures, contract drafting and legal research. He then joined the firm’s Infrastructure, Projects and Energy Group where he assisted in the drafting of lease contracts and conducted legal research on the regulations governing the water, sewerage and energy sectors.

Antony joined Trade Mark Consultants Co. as an IP Paralegal in 2013. He advises on all aspects of trade mark law, including trade mark clearances, the registration of trademarks, trade mark prosecution, oppositions, non-use revocation proceedings, invalidity actions, online brand enforcement and UDRP domain name proceedings.

In addition, Antony also advises on assignments, licensing agreements and co-existence agreements as well as confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.

Antony has been involved in many different types of trade mark disputes ranging from simple opposition proceedings to reverse domain name hijacking cases. His most notable accomplishment was safeguarding a client from a claim of trade mark infringement by locating and acquiring an earlier trade mark registration, reviving the unused registration through the negotiation and procurement of licensing agreements and then utilising the newly acquired trade mark to bring the original action against the client to a definite close.
