Cristina read a Bachelors degree in law at King’s College, London. She then went on to complete a Master’s degree, also in law, at the London School of Economics, with a particular focus on intellectual property, cyber law and data protection.

Cristina has worked as a legal assistant in two law firms in Romania, in one London based law firm and as part of the in-house legal department of a company specialising in international business consultancy for start-up enterprises. She completed a three-month internship at Trade Mark Consultants Co. before joining the team full-time as an IP paralegal.

Cristina deals with clearance searching, business analysis, drafting of specifications, national and international filing strategies and filing multi-jurisdictional trade mark applications. She also deals with all formality issues at the UK, OHIM and WIPO. Cristina also advises on contentious matters, including opposition, revocation and invalidity proceedings.

Since entering the profession, Cristina has become accustomed to handling very complex legal situations. Her notable works involved preparing and filing technical legalistic arguments and evidence.
